Advisor Perspectives recently surveyed nearly 800 advisors regarding their allocations over the next six months.
34% indicated they would be increasing their allocations in actively managed funds by more than 3%. This could indicate a shift as recent months have seen an increase in passive management.
High-yield bond funds scored lowest with only 6.1% of the advisors surveyed indicating they planned to increase those allocations.
Robert Huebscher, CEO of Advisor Perspectives, believes it’s time for a shift in fund industry analysis. In the past there has been great focus on historical flows and past trends, but Huebscher believes there is more interest in what advisors plan to do in the future.
