Senior Account Executive

Qualifications
We are searching for executives who are persuasive, who are knowledgeable about the financial markets, and who have a strong work ethic. 

• Our executives connect financial industry leaders with journalists at major publications and networks.
  The successful candidate must have excellent people skills and be comfortable dealing with CEOs, Presidents and Chief Investment Officers.
• The members of our team need to be experts in complex financial products.
• The successful candidate must be a self-starter while at the same time able to work productively within a team environment.
• A college degree is required; an MBA is preferred. 

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
The SunStar account manager represents our clients to the news media. He/she pitches stories to journalists, provides counsel to clients, responds to needs of reporters, does online research and provides general account management. The manager also works on marketing projects for prospective clients.

This position may be right for a financial analyst, broker, financial planner, or financial journalist who enjoys the markets and working with people, but dislikes other aspects of that work.

A senior account manager travels with clients on a limited basis to New York and other cities to meet with the news media.
